Why do you need (TRSB)?
The TRSB feature solves to issues for Hosted PBX Users
Provides the ability to charge customers different rates for a call, based on the Provider that the call is terminated with. As such you can now have different Rate Tables associated with different Termination Providers and the RadiusCat Billing Engine will rate/bill the call to the caller based on the Termination Provider that the call is terminated with.
E.g.: You provide long distance services to Australia and terminate all calls with 2 Providers (‘Carrier-A’ & ‘Carrier-B’). Carrier-A charges you $0.10 @ min and Carrier-B charges you $0.05 @ min. Your PBX ARS is set to terminate calls first with ‘Carrier-B’ and with ‘Carrier-A’ on failure. You have no control over which Carrier the calls are terminated with however you are charged a much higher rate if calls are terminated with ‘Carrier-A’ and so you would like to pass on that charge to your callers.
You define two separate Selling Rate Tables with different rates for the Australia NPA/NXX. Using the TRSB feature you assign one Rate Table to Carrier A and the other to Carrier B. You then turn on the TRSB feature on all the Tenant Accounts that will do Route Sensitive Billing. The RadiusCat MT Billing Engine will bill callers based on the Carrier that the Australia calls are terminated with.
