Termination Route Sensitive Billing - Selling Routes
Selling Routes allow the RadiusCat MT Billing Engine to make an association between a particular Termination Route and one or more Rate Tables. Simply put, a Selling Route tells RadiusCat MT which Rate Table should be used to charge the caller for calls based on the Termination Provider that the call was terminated with. To use TRSB feature you must define at least one Selling Route.
To define a Selling Route please do the following:
1) Log into RadiusCat MT as Admin and open the Rates module by clicking on the ‘Rates’ menu item
2) Define one or more Rate Tables that will be associated with the Termination Provider(s)
3) Click on ‘Selling Routes’ to open the Selling Routes module
4) Click ‘New Selling Route’ to create a new Selling Route entry
5) Edit the newly created Selling Route entry by adding the following:
IP Address/URL – This is the IP Address/URL of the Termination Service provider to which the calls will be terminated. The IP Address/URL can be entered in whole or in part as the RadiusCat Billing Engine will use the closet match for association.
Selling Rate Table – Select the Rate Table from the drop down that will be associated with the Termination Providers IP Address/URL.
Description – Enter a description that will be used as an identifier for this Selling Route.
Notes – Enter any notes that you would like for this Selling Route.
6) Click the ‘Save’ button to save the Selling Route
