The RadiusCat Virtual-Call feature allows service providers to offer "One Stage" Dialling to their end users via Local DID's. This is in contrast to a Calling-Card or Call Back solution that offers a 2 stage dialling.
The Virtual-Call feature allows your callers to have a local DID number for every long distance number that they want to call. Using a mobile phone or landline phone, your customers simply dial a local number and get connected directly to the long distance number they want. There are no Pins, Calling Cards or Call Bank Services involved.
RadiusCat also has the unique Virtual-Call "Time of Day" feature which allows you to map one single Virtual-Call DID number to many different long distance number based on a time of day setting. The Virtual Call "Time of Day" feature will allow a single DID to facilitate one stage dialling to up to 48 different log distance number based on 48 different times of day settings
Example #1:
Mary lives in Florida but her daughter attends the University of Baltimore, Maryland. Every time Mary calls her daughter she makes a long distance call to a Maryland number (long distance from Florida to Maryland).
Using a RadiusCat Virtual-Call account, Mary received a Florida DID that is mapped to her daughters Maryland number. Mary is now able to call her daughter by simply making a local call which automatically connects her to the Maryland number.
In this scenario the Virtual-Call number (Florida DID) routes the call to the Maryland number using the VoIP Termination services defined in the RadiusCat system.
Example #2:
Using the unique Virtual Call "Time of Day" feature Mary is now able to contact her daughter on 2 separate Maryland numbers using just one Florida (local) DID. Mary can call her daughter on her Mobile Maryland number in the morning and in the evenings can contact her daughter on her Landline Maryland number.
Using a RadiusCat Virtual-Call account, Mary received a Florida DID that is mapped to her daughters Maryland Mobile and Landline number. Mary is now able to call her daughter by simply making a local call which automatically connects her to the Maryland number.
In this scenario the Virtual-Call number (Florida DID) routes the call to her daughters Maryland Mobile number in the mornings and Landline number in the evenings using the VoIP Termination services defined in the RadiusCat system.
