Dial By Name (DBN) PBX Configuration
- Install the DBN Java Plug-In Jar File and Logging properties files in the folder specified in the installation ReadMe file
- Create a PBX User extension that will serve as the Dial By Name Script Extension
- Select the [IVR] field as Script
- Click [OK] in the popup window and save the settings. Once this completed the [Script Settings] fields will show at the bottom of the User Account edit page.
- Set the [Script Settings] fields according the notes in the ReadMe file
- Go to PBX > Options > Notes and do the following:
- Create a new Note as folows (without the double quotes)
- Name = "svkdbn"
- Description = "SVK Software RadiusCat MT Dial By Name Script"
- Set the Note Data according to the Java Script indcated in the ReadMe file
- Create a new Note as folows (without the double quotes)
- Save the Note
- Add the Voice Prompt files as per the instructions indicated in the ReadMe file
- By default the DBN module will allow a caller a maximum of 3 tries to make a selection when no response was received from the caller. You can change this value by setting the dbnivr.attempts value in the PBX > Options > Advanced sceen, E.g.: dbnivr.attempts = 5
