Starting with RadiusCat 2.x you can now set the Credit balance at the Customer level and have all a Accounts belonging to that customer share the same credit. This is differnet from previous version of the system where credit balance had to be set at the individual account level.
A customer account that has the credit balance set at the customer level (and not at te individual account level) is called a 'Master Customer'
To configure an customer account as a Master Customer please do the following:
- Log into the RadiusCat 2.x using Admin credentials
- Click the 'Customer' menu link
- Search for and open the Customer Account
- Click on the 'Billing' Tab
- Click the 'Accounts will Inherit Billing settings from Customer' check box
- Select the 'Account Type', 'Account Plan', and 'Rate Table' for this customer
- Set the Current Balance is required.
All Accounts belonging to this customer as well as new accounts assigned to this customer will share the Billing settings at are created at the Customer Level.
Whenever you open an Account that belongs to this customer you will notice that the 'Rate Table', 'Account Plan', 'Account Type' and 'Account Value' controls are all disabled. Also you will notice that the 'Account Value' field will always be $0.00
